Eliminate all or MOST chemicals normally used to treat swimming pool water including:

• Sanitizers / disinfectants - To destroy harmful and objectionable organisms.
• Soda Ash (sodium carbonate) / pH Plus - Used to increase the pH level.
• Sodium bisulphate / pH Minus - Used to decrease the pH level.

STAIN & SCALE

Water can scale and damage the pool with mineral deposits.

Calcium Hardness refers to the hardness of the water, measuring the amount of mainly calcium and also other minerals. Swimming pools require hard water - defined as water with more than 100 ppm of hardness ions. Like pH and alkalinity, calcium hardness affects the tendency of pool water to be corrosive when it is low and scale forming when it is high.

Swimming pools require calcium. Swimming pool scale, however, results from high amounts of calcium and/or silicate deposits. Scale adheres to walls, floors, plumbing and heat exchangers. WATER SANITATION

Sanitation, especially, is recognized as a means of controlling communicable diseases.

Pool water needs to be sanitized to ensure bather safety. Bacteria will rapidly multiply in pool water that remains untreated.

WATER BALANCE (pH) pH is the single most important element in swimming pool water chemistry. It affects every other chemical balance in pool water. The Silver Bullet System maintains a level pH.

Reduce bacteria and other biological growth to a "beyond compliance" minimum. Organic problems such as algae and bacteria can discolor the water and deposit themselves on pool surfaces. MAINTAIN WATER CLARITY

Today, spas are as popular as pools, they deliver a relaxing, therapeutic experience that's impossible to duplicate. However, the heated, aerated water and the heavy bather load characteristic of the spa environment add a whole new dimension to water care when compared to a swimming pool.

Most spas are kept between 100 and 104 degrees. The heat of the water loosens all the oils and cosmetics on skin and is an ideal breeding ground for bacteria. Hotter water has different mineral requirements than cooler water does.
